ANKARA (AA) - Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George will miss a play-in game against the New Orleans Pelicans after contracting COVID-19, according to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski.
"Clippers star Paul George has entered health and safety protocols and will miss tonight's Play-in game vs. New Orleans, sources tell @TimBontemps and me," Wojnarowski tweeted on Friday.
The Clippers will be without their star guard in the most important game of the season on Friday as they fight to seal the No. 8 seed for the Western Conference playoffs.
Having missed 51 games, the 31-year-old George played with an average of 24.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 5.7 assists this season.
