ANKARA (AA) – Stephen Curry has surpassed Ray Allen to become the player with the most 3-pointers in NBA history.
The Golden State Warriors star made nine 3-pointers as he piled up 40 points in a 119-93 victory over the Chicago Bulls late on Friday.
His 3-pointer tally now stands at 3,366, well clear of the 3,358 racked up by Allen, who called time on his career back in 2014.
Andrew Wiggins pitched in with 15 points and seven rebounds and Jordan Poole ended with 14 points as the Warriors stormed to their seventh successive win of the season.
For the Bulls, Zach LaVine led with 23 points and DeMar DeRozan scored 18.
The Warriors’ impressive start to the season has seen them record 11 wins with just one defeat, while the Bulls have eight wins and four losses.
