ATHENS (AA) - Czech police raided the General Staff building and detained at least 10 people on corruption allegations, media reports said Tuesday.
The operation, supervised by the Prague High Prosecutor’s Office and conducted by the organized crime department of the police, concerns Defense Ministry public contracts for maintenance of the microwave network, according to state-run CTK news agency.
The Defense Ministry confirmed on X that police raided army installations.
The army and ministry have been in full cooperation with the police, it added.
