ISTANBUL (AA) - The Dakar Rally 2020 will start in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
The 42nd running of the world’s toughest off-road race will see 400 competitors to join the event in Jeddah.
Nearly three quarters of the race will take place on sand.
Dakar competitors must navigate their way through about 7,500 kilometers (4,660 miles).
The drivers will compete in five categories from cars, bikes, trucks, quads and UTVs (utility task vehicle) during the 12-day race.
