ANKARA (AA) - The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the San Antonio Spurs 125-121 in overtime on Tuesday night in an away game in NBA regular season, to even their win/loss record at 2-2.
Playing without superstar LeBron James due to sore ankle, the Lakers found star power in Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook, combining for 68 points.
Davis scored 35 points and grabbed 17 rebounds for a 'double-double', while Westbrook tallied 33 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists to be one of the key players for the away win.
Malik Monk also added 17 points for the Lakers.
Spurs' point guard Dejounte Murray made a 'triple-double' with 21 points, 15 assists and 12 rebounds at AT&T Center.
Jakob Poeltl scored 27 points and pulled down 14 rebounds for the Spurs. Lonnie Walker IV also added 21 points.
The overtime win brought Lakers their second straight win. The Spurs, meanwhile, are currently 1-3.
