ANKARA (AA) – Producer prices in Germany fell 2.9% from a year ago in March, marking the smallest decline since July, the country's statistical bureau announced on Friday.
The ninth consecutive month of decline was due to lower energy prices which dropped by 7% year-on-year, Destatis data showed.
Gas prices plunged by 15.4% from March 2023 and electricity cost dropped 12.6% during the same period.
On a monthly basis, producer prices in March rose 0.2% from February.
