ISTANBUL (AA) - Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogacar clinched a second straight victory on stage seven of the Tour de France on Friday.
The UAE Emirates team rider finished the 176.5 km (109 miles) stage from Tomblaine to La Super Planche des Belles Filles in three hours, 58 minutes and 40 seconds.
Pogacar, who has the yellow jersey, leads the general ranking.
Danish cyclist Jonas Vingegaard of Jumbo-Visma came second, while his teammate Primoz Roglic from Slovenia finished third.
Stage eight, a 184-km (114-mile) ride, will be held from Dole to Lausanne on Saturday.
The 2022 event includes 21 stages and will end on the Avenue des Champs-Elysées in Paris on July 24.
