Despite career-high from Simmons, Sixers fall to Jazz

Ben Simmons scores career-high 42 points in 134-123 loss to Utah Jazz

ISTANBUL (AA) - The Philadelphia 76ers lost to the Utah Jazz 134-123 on Tuesday despite a career-high performance from Ben Simmons.

Playing at Vivint Smart Home Arena, two-time all-star Simmons finished with a career-high 42 points to go with 12 assists and nine rebounds for the Sixers.

Two players provided a double-double.

Tobias Harris scored 36 points and 10 rebounds, while Dwight Howard played with 14 points and 12 rebounds in the loss.

For the winning side, Filipino-American guard Jordan Clarkson was the highest scorer of his team.

Clarkson came off the bench to drop 40 points.

Donovan Mitchell scored 24 and Joe Ingles produced 20 to lead the Jazz past the Sixers.

With this result, the Utah Jazz improved to 23-5 to remain at the top of the Western Conference.
