The Israeli army also plans to advance southward towards Rafah amid international and regional concerns of worsening the already dire humanitarian conditions in the enclave.
Ramallah – Israel's daily military raids in cities and towns of West Bank. Its actions in the occupied territory since the start of the war in Gaza have led to the killing of at least 388 Palestinians and the injury of around 4,450 others. The number of arrests has risen to record 6,940.
LEBANON

His party has called for protests, and mounted legal challenges over results it alleges were manipulated. FINLAND
Helsinki - Finns to head to polls for second round of presidential election. Runoff takes place between former Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto and former Prime Minister Alexander Stubb.
