Israeli forces continue genocidal attacks in Gaza
Ongoing Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling in the Gaza Strip continue to claim the lives of more Palestinians and worsen their living conditions.
The death toll from relentless Israeli attacks on the besieged territory since October of last year has climbed to 43,374 as of Monday, with over 102,261 injured.
At least four people were killed and several injured when fighter jets hit homes in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza on Monday.
In a separate incident, a husband, his wife, and two children were injured in a drone strike on their home in the southern city of Khan Younis.
Israel’s siege, ground incursion in northern Gaza Strip continue
Israel's month-long siege, ground invasion, and bombardment of the northern Gaza Strip continue amid food, water, fuel, and medicine shortages.
On Monday, at least 15 Palestinians were killed, and others remain missing under the debris of two houses struck by an Israeli airstrike in Beit Lahia, located in northern Gaza.
Israel’s withdrawing from agreement with UNRWA
International and regional reactions on Israel’s decision to withdraw from an agreement with the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), citing “security concerns.”
Israel’s Foreign Ministry said the withdrawal relates to the 1967 agreement concerning UNRWA’s operations in support of Palestinian refugees, in a letter addressed to UN General Assembly President Philemon Yang.
On Monday, the Palestinian Authority decried the Israeli decision, accusing it of “ignoring all international norms, charters, resolutions and international humanitarian law.”
For its part, Hamas called the decision “a disregard and contempt for the UN system.”
The withdrawal will take effect after a three-month transition period.
Israeli aggression in Lebanon
Israel's continuous attacks on Lebanon and the Hezbollah group's targeting of Israel with rockets.
Nearly 3,000 people have been killed, and more than 13,400 injured in Israeli attacks since October of last year, according to Lebanese health authorities.
On Monday, four people were killed and three more injured in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Mashghara in eastern Lebanon.
Lebanese Health Minister Firas Abiad said eight hospitals completely went out of service under Israeli strikes.
Meanwhile, Lebanese Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi said Lebanon will question the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) regarding Israel’s kidnapping of Lebanese citizen Imad Amahaz from Batroun, a northern coastal city on Saturday as the peacekeeping force is responsible for monitoring Lebanon’s shores.
On field developments, the Israeli army said some 60 rockets were fired by Hezbollah from Lebanon into northern Israel. It also claimed that it intercepted four combat drones fired from Lebanon.
For its part, Hezbollah said it attacked with rockets an air surveillance unit at the Israeli army's Miron base and four settlements in northern Israel.
Gaza cease-fire talks

The head of Israel’s Mossad intelligence service, David Barnea, told families of Israeli captives held in Gaza on Monday that the chances to reach a prisoner swap deal with Hamas were diminishing.
He was quoted as saying that Israel was waiting for Hamas' responses to recent cease-fire proposals floated by Egypt and Qatar.
On Saturday, Hamas called recent Gaza cease-fire proposals a “smokescreen" as they do not include an end to the Israeli war or withdrawal from the enclave.
West Bank raids
Israeli military raids on Palestinian cities and towns in occupied West Bank.
On Monday, Israeli forces launched a raid on the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, deploying extensive military forces and targeting homes and shops.
Illegal Israeli settlers attacked the Palestinian village of Burqa in the central West Bank and burnt olive fields. They also hurled rocks at Palestinian homes there.
Israel has killed at least 768 people since October of last year, including 160 children, and injured nearly 6,300 others, with over 11,600 taken into custody.
US presidential and legislative elections
