Dortmund aim to reach their first Champions League final since 2013

German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund are aiming to reach their first UEFA Champions League final since 2013, as they would meet Paris-Saint Germain (PSG) for the semifinal second-leg game on Tuesday.

The Black and Yellows will play with the already-crowned Ligue 1 champions to defend their one-goal advantage, as the first leg ended 1-0 in the German side's favor.

PSG manager Luis Enrique said: "That's football. Sometimes it's wonderful, and then other times, that's how it goes. We'll have to analyze the chances created by both teams."

"The result reflects how close the game was. It's a new situation for both teams. In the last two rounds, they had the home game as their second game, whereas it was the other way round for us. We'll now have the crowd on our side in the second leg. Of course, we'll have to be more effective there than we were [in Dortmund]," he added.

Dortmund's German head coach Edin Terzic said they aim to reach the final in Wembley, adding: "You have to earn your way to Wembley. All we need now is a draw in the second leg, but we also want to win. We have a small lead and a good opportunity."

Borussia Dortmund claimed their only Champions League trophy in 1997, while Paris Saint-Germain are yet to clinch their maiden trophy after losing the 2020 final to another German Bundesliga side, Bayern Munich, 1-0.
