GENEVA (AA) - Dozens of farmers in Geneva, Switzerland on Saturday joined the farmers protests that have shaken up Europe.
A 30-tractor convoy passed through Plainplais Square, where a weekly farmer market takes place, while continuously honking horns.
The tractors displayed banners saying: "We don't just maintain the landscape," "Our end will be your death," and "No country without farmers."
The people in the square showed their solidarity with the protesting farmers with applause and hand waves.
The protests did not affect the traffic in the city and the convoy moved forward under police escort.
