ANKARA (AA) — Red Bull Racing's Dutch Formula One driver Max Verstappen won in his home country on Sunday.
The 25-year-old finished the race in 2 hours, 24 minutes 4.411 seconds to win the Dutch Grand Prix for the third year in a row.
Aston Martin's Spanish driver Fernando Alonso finished the race second, while Alpine Renault's French driver Pierre Gasly finished third at the Circuit Zandvoort.
Verstappen tops driver standings with 339 points, while his Mexican teammate Sergio Perez follows with 201 points and Alonso places third with 168 points.
Red Bull Racing is placed first in the constructor standings with 540 points, while Mercedes is second with 255 points and Aston Martin third with 215 points.
Round 15 in the Formula One World Championship, the Italian Grand Prix, will be held at the Monza Circuit on Sept. 3.
