Economists expect no change in Türkiye's interest rates

Last month, Central Bank increased interest rate by 250 basis points to 45%

ISTANBUL (AA) – The Turkish Central Bank is expected to keep its policy rate constant at 45% next week.

The bank’s Monetary Policy Committee will meet on Feb. 22 to announce its decision on interest rates.

All 14 economists surveyed by Anadolu expected no change in the rate.

The economists' year-end policy rate forecast was 36.25%.

Last month, the bank increased the interest rate by 250 basis points to 45%.
