MANILA, Philippines (AA) – Two earthquakes struck the northern Philippines on Saturday, leaving at least eight people dead, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology
The quakes, with magnitudes of 5.4 and 5.9, rocked parts of Batanes province and many buildings were reportedly damaged.
No tsunami alert was issued.
