ISTANBUL (AA) - Eintracht Frankfurt claimed a 2-1 away victory against West Ham United in the UEFA Europa League semifinals first leg Thursday.
The German club drew first blood with Ansgar Knauff's early header in the first minute while the English club leveled the match with a goal in the 21st minute from Michail Antonio at London Stadium.
Japanese midfielder Daichi Kamada scored the winning goal in the 54th minute and the match ended with a narrow win in favor of Eintracht Frankfurt.
In another semifinal clash, Angelino's classy long-range shot gave Leipzig a 1-0 victory over Rangers at RB Arena.
The second leg matches will be held on May 5.
