ISTANBUL (AA) - England claimed a 3-1 win over Australia to reach their first Women's World Cup on Wednesday.
Ella Toone broke the deadlock for England in the 36th minute at Sydney's Stadium Australia but Australia leveled the game with a long-range finish from Samantha Kerr in the 63rd minute.
England took the lead again when Lauren Hemp made a close-range finish in the 71st minute.
In a counterattack, Alessia Russo put the ball into the net to make the score 3-1 in the 86th minute.
The Lionesses will face Spain in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup Final at Stadium Australia on Sunday.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Spain booked a spot for maiden Women's World Cup final after eliminating Sweden 2-1.
