English Premier League club Bournemouth signed Türkiye forward Enes Unal on loan Thursday, which was the transfer deadline day.
"AFC Bournemouth are delighted to sign Turkey international Enes Unal on an initial loan.
"The forward arrives at Vitality Stadium on loan for the remainder of the season, which contains the obligation to make the move permanent if certain conditions are met," Bournemouth said in a statement.
Unal, a 26-year-old prolific forward, scored 36 goals in 109 matches for Spanish club Getafe since 2020.
"We’re really pleased to welcome Enes to the club and believe he’ll add strength to our front line.
"He’s proven that he can score goals in multiple different countries, and we believe he’s got the skillset to succeed in the Premier League," said Neill Blake, Bournemouth’s chief executive.
A Bursaspor product, Unal permanently moved to Manchester City in 2015 but was then loaned to Genk, NAC Breda and Twente.
Spain's Villarreal purchased him from Man City in 2017.
In addition to Villarreal, he played for Spanish clubs Levante, Real Valladolid and Getafe.
He amassed 32 international caps for Türkiye.
