ANKARA (AA) – English Premier League club Liverpool hosted a holy Ramadan fast-breaking event on Sunday.
The Liverpool Foundation previously announced that the "Share Ramadan" event, a free community celebration of the holy month of Ramadan, would welcome approximately 2,800 people from various communities across the Liverpool City Region.
A load call for Sunday evening prayer was also held at Liverpool's Anfield stadium, followed by a fast break.
Many people liked and shared images from the organization's call to prayer on social media.
Liverpool drew 2-2 with Manchester United in the week 32 match of the English Premier League earlier in the day.
