ANKARA (AA) - Ethiopia’s Yalemzerf Yehualaw won the women’s P&O Antrim Coast Half Marathon in Larne, Northern Ireland on Sunday while setting a new world record with a time of 1:03:44.
The previous world record was set on April 4 by Kenya’s world marathon champion Ruth Chepngetich with a time of 1:04:02 in Istanbul.
Kenya's Jane Nyaboke placed second with 1:09:45 and Great Britain's Rose Harvey placed third with 1:10:29 at the event.
