ISTANBUL (AA) - The 2022 European Basketball Championship's (FIBA EuroBasket 2022) quarterfinal stage will tip off on Tuesday.
Finland will face three-time winner Spain as the match at the EuroBasket Arena Berlin will start at 1515 GMT.
The Finnish national team progressed into the quarterfinals for the first time in 55 years after beating Croatia 94-86.
Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen delivered a brilliant performance, producing 43 points and 9 rebounds in the round of 16 win over the Croatians.
Spain qualified for the quarterfinals with Saturday's 102-94 victory against Lithuania in overtime.
Germany, meanwhile, will host Greece on the same court on Tuesday. Germany marched into the quarterfinals by defeating Montenegro 85-79 in the last 16.
Dennis Schroder will be the Germans' trump card in the last-eight clash.
Two-time FIBA EuroBasket champs, Greece beat the Czech Republic 94-88 to book a ticket for the quarterfinals in Sunday's clash.
