ISTANBUL (AA) - European stocks closed with gains on Monday, except for Italy's exchange.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European markets in 17 countries, was up 3.62 points, or 0.77%, to finish the day at 472.86.
The UK’s FTSE 100 rose 25 points, or 0.35%, to 7,487, and Germany’s DAX 30 added 128 points, or 0.77%, to finish the day at 16,683.
France’s CAC 40 gained 41 points, or 0.56%, to end the first trading day of the week at 7,413.
Spain’s IBEX 35 was the best performer of the day, adding 109 points, or 1.11%, to reach 9,968 at the closing bell.
Italy’s FTSE MIB, on the other hand, lost 101 points, or 0.33%, to 30,182.
