ISTANBUL (AA) - European stock exchanges closed higher Friday, except STOXX Europe 600.
The index, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was down 0.18 points, or 0.04%, to close at 451.39.
The UK’s FTSE 100, on the other hand, rose 4.95 points, or 0.07%, to finish the session at 7,338.
Germany’s DAX 30 added 10 points, or 0.07%, to 15,631, while France’s CAC 40 gained 15 points, or 0.21%, to reach 7,229 by the closing bell.
Italy’s FTSE MIB was the best performer of the day by increasing 136 points, or 0.49%, to 28,208.
Spain’s IBEX 35 increased 14 points, or 0.15%, to close the week at 9,338.
