ISTANBUL (AA) - European stocks closed with losses Wednesday.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European markets in 17 countries, was down 5.35 points, or 1.13%, at 467.41.
The UK’s FTSE 100 was the worst performer of the day, plummeting 112 points, or 1.48%, to close at 7,446.
Germany’s DAX 30 lost almost 140 points, or 0.84%, to finish the day at 16,431. France’s CAC 40 shed 79 points, or 1.07%, to 7,318.
Italy’s FTSE MIB dropped 238 points, or 0.79%, to end the day at 30,098. Spain’s IBEX 35 fell 126 points, or 1.26%, to 9,867 at the closing bell.
