ISTANBUL (AA) - European stocks closed in the red Tuesday.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European markets in 17 countries, was down 4.63 points, or 0.95%, at 482.83.
The UK’s FTSE 100 fell 61 points, or 0.81%, to close at 7,512. Germany’s DAX 30 lost 156 points, or 0.92%, to finish the day at 16,880.
France’s CAC 40 fell 64 points, or 0.84%, to 7,625, while Spain’s IBEX 35 dropped 59 points, or 0.59%, to 9,925 at the closing bell.
Italy’s FTSE MIB was the worst performer of the day, diving 322 points, or 1.03%, to end the second trading day of the week at 31,134.
