ISTANBUL (AA) — European stock exchanges closed lower Tuesday except for Germany's DAX 30.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, fell 1.53 points, or 0.33%, to finish at 465.41.
The UK's FTSE 100 decreased 14 points, or 0.18%, to end the session at 7,764.
France's CAC 40 was the worst performer of the day, plummeting 43, or 0.59%, to 7,397.
Italy's FTSE MIB declined 42 points, or 0.16%, to close at 27,383. Spain's IBEX 35, meanwhile, fell 28 points, or 0.31%, to end the day at 9,183.
Germany's DAX 30, on the other hand, rose only 2.65 points, or 0.02%, to finish the day flat at 15,955.
