ISTANBUL (AA) — European stock exchanges closed lower on Thursday except for Germany.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, fell 0.94 point, or 0.2%, to finish at 458.19.
The UK's FTSE 100 decreased 34 points, or 0.46%, to end the session at 7,439. Italy's FTSE MIB declined 85 points, or 0.29%, to close at 28,831.
France's CAC 40 was the worst performer of the day, plummeting 47 points, or 0.65%, to 7,316.
Spain's IBEX 35, meanwhile, decreased 45 points, or 0.47%, to end the day at 9,505.
Germany's DAX 30, on the other hand, rose 55 points, or 0.35%, to finish the day flat at 15,947.
