ISTANBUL (AA) - European stock exchanges closed lower Friday, except in Italy.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was down 0.44 points, or 0.09%, to finish at 484.83.
The UK’s FTSE 100 fell almost 23 points, or 0.3%, to 7,572. France’s CAC 40 trimmed 18 points, or 0.24%, to 7,647.
Germany’s DAX 30 decreased 37 points, or 0.22%, to end the session at 16,926.
Spain’s IBEX 35 lost almost nine points, or 0.09% to finish the week at 9,896.
Italy’s FTSE MIB, on the other hand, rose almost 92 points, or 0.3%, to 31,156 at the final bell.
