ISTANBUL (AA) - European stocks closed on a mixed note Wednesday.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was the worst performer of the day, falling 2.47 points, or 0.48%, to 514.83.
Germany's DAX, meanwhile, decreased 80 points, or 0.44%, to finish the session at 18,437.
France's CAC 40 declined more than nine points, or 0.12%, to close at 7,570.
The UK's FTSE 100, on the other hand, rose 22 points, or 0.28%, to 8,187 while Spain's IBEX 35 added 14 points, or 0.13%, to 11,105.
Italy's FTSE MIB rose just 10 points, or 0.03%, to end the day nearly flat at 34,379.
