ISTANBUL (AA) — European stock exchanges closed Monday with losses.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European markets in 17 countries, was down 0.72 point, or 0.16%, at 443.52.
Germany's DAX 30 decreased 53 points, or 0.35%, to finish the first trading day of the week at 15,135.
France's CAC 40 fell 33 points, or 0.48%, to 7,013, while Italy's FTSE MIB dropped 82 points, or 0.29%, to 28,592.
Spain's IBEX 35 was the worst performer of the day, plummeting 52 points, or 0.56%, to end the day at 9,241.
The UK's FTSE 100, on the other hand, was flat and closed at 7,417.
