ISTANBUL (AA) - Stock exchanges in Europe finished Tuesday on a lower note.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, fell 1.17 points, or 0.23%, to close at 517.70.
The UK's FTSE 100 shed 33 points, or 0.41%, to 8,247. France's CAC 40 slumped 44 points, or 0.58%, to end the session at 7,662.
Germany's DAX was the worst performer of the day, losing almost 148 points, or 0.81%, to 18,177.
Italy's FTSE MIB, meanwhile, dove 127 points, or 0.38%, to end the day at 33,707.
Spain's IBEX 35 decreased 53 points, or 0.48%, to close the session at 11,118.
