ISTANBUL (AA) - European stock exchanges lost around 1% each to finish Wednesday in negative territory.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, fell 5.63 points, or 1.08%, to close at 513.45.
The UK's FTSE 100 lost 71 points, or 0.86%, to end the session at 8,183. Germany's DAX shed 204 points, or 1.1%, to 18,473.
France's CAC 40 was the worst performer of the day, diving 122 points, or 1.52%, to 7,935.
Italy's FTSE MIB, meanwhile, plummeted 509 points, or 1.47%, to finish at 34,150.
Spain's IBEX 35 decreased 130 points, or 1.16%, to end the day at 11,145.
