ANKARA (AA) - European stock exchanges closed lower on Thursday, giving up gains on the previous session.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, fell 7.33 points, or 1.69%, to close at 427.12 points.
London's FTSE 100 decreased 91 points, or 1.27%, to finish at 7,099.
Germany's DAX 30 lost 405 points, or 2.93%, to end the day at 13,442, while France's CAC 40 was down 180 points, or 2.83%, to 6,207.
Italy's FTSE MIB was the worst performer of the day, plummeting 1,002 points, or 4.2%, to close at 22,886.
Spain's IBEX 35 declined 93 points, or 1.15%, to 8,069.
