ANKARA (AA) – European stock indices rebounded to close higher on Friday with gains over 3%, after Russia's attack on Ukraine caused turmoil in markets a day earlier.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose 14.57 points, or 3.32%, to close at 453.53.
London's FTSE 100 was the best performer of the day jumping 282 points, or 3.91%, to finish at 7,489.
Germany's DAX 30 jumped 515 points, or 3.67%, to close at 14,567. France's CAC 40 was up 231 points, or 3.55%, to 6,752.
Italy's FTSE MIB soared 893 points, or 3.59%, to finish the day at 25,773.
Spain's IBEX 35 increased 288 points, or 3.51%, to end at 8,486.
