ISTANBUL (AA) - European stock exchanges closed Tuesday with gains.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of European markets in 17 countries, was up 3.52 points, or 0.69%, to close at 515.01.
The UK's FTSE 100 rose 49 points, or 0.6%, to finish the session at 8,191, while Spain's IBEX 35 gained 108 points, or 0.99%, to end the day at 11,067.
Germany’s DAX increased 63 points, or 0.35%, to close at almost 18,132. France's CAC 40 gained 57 points, or 0.76%, to end the session at 7,628.
Italy's FTSE MIB was the best performer of the day, soaring 407 points, or 1.24%, to hit 33,315 by the closing bell.
