ISTANBUL (AA) - European stocks closed Thursday in negative territory.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European markets in 17 countries, fell 2.91 points, or 0.63%, to finish at 457.93.
The UK's FTSE 100 lost 32 points, or 0.43%, to end the session at 7,529. Germany's DAX also shed 126 points, or 0.79%, to 15,893.
France's CAC 40, meanwhile, lost 52 points, or 0.72%, to close at 7,260.
Italy's FTSE MIB was the worst performer of the day, plummeting 271 points, or 0.94%, to 28,702.
Spain's IBEX 35 dropped 21 points, or 0.23%, to end the day at 9,307.
