ISTANBUL (AA) - European stocks closed Wednesday with losses, hitting their lowest in six months.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European markets in 17 countries, was down 0.79 points, or 0.18%, to 446.91.
The UK’s FTSE 100 was the worst performer of the day, falling 32 points, or 0.43%, to finish at 7,593.
Germany’s DAX 30 lost 38 points, or 0.25%, to 15,217 and France’s CAC 40 was off 2.23 points, or 0.03%, to 7,071.
Italy’s FTSE MIB fell 86 points, or 0.31%, to 28,012 at the closing bell.
Spain’s IBEX 35 lost 35 points, or 0.37%, to end the third trading day of the week at 9,331.
