ISTANBUL (AA) - European stocks closed Thursday with gains, bouncing back from their lowest level in six months that was recorded in the previous session.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European markets in 17 countries, was up 1.59 points, or 0.36%, to finish at 448.50.
Spain’s IBEX 35 was the best performer of the day, rising 94 points, or 1.02%, to 9,426.
The UK’s FTSE 100 rose 8.63 points, or 0.11%, to end the fourth trading day of the week at 7,601.
Germany’s DAX 30 added 106 points, or 0.7%, to 15,323 and France’s CAC 40 was up 44 points, or 0.63%, to 7,116.
Italy’s FTSE MIB increased 150 points, or 0.54%, to hit 28,163 at the final bell.
