ISTANBUL (AA) - European stocks closed higher Wednesday except the IBEX 35 in Spain.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was up 1.43 points, or 0.31%, to close at 462.51.
The UK’s FTSE 100 rose 15 points, or 0.2%, to finish the session at 7,788.
Germany’s DAX 30 added 88 points, or 0.56%, to 15,815. France’s CAC 40 gained 20 points, or 0.28%, to hit 7,403 by the closing bell.
Italy’s FTSE MIB was the best performer of the day by increasing 205 points, or 0.77%, to 26,805.
Spain’s IBEX 35, on the other hand, fell 5 points, or 0.06%, to 9,076.
