ANKARA (AA) - European stocks closed higher on Monday, except for the UK and Spanish exchanges.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose 0.69 points, or 0.15%, to finish at 459.86.
Italy's FTSE MIB was the best performer of the day, increasing 160 points, or 0.57%, to end the day at 28,435.
Germany's DAX 30 gained 72 points, or 0.46%, to rise to 15,904. France's CAC 40 added eight points, or 0.12%, to reach 7,348.
The UK's FTSE 100, on the other hand, fell 17 points, or 0.23%, to end at 7,507.
Spain's IBEX 35, meanwhile, lost 4.7 points, or 0.05%, to close at 9,429.
