ISTANBUL (AA) - European stocks closed higher Thursday except in Germany.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose 1.23 points, or 0.28%, to finish at 441.31.
The UK's FTSE 100 gained 39 points, or 0.53%, to end the session at 7,451. France's CAC 40 added just 1.52 points to remain flat at 6,998.
Italy's FTSE MIB, meanwhile, increased 55 points, or 0.2%, to close at 27,490.
Spain's IBEX 35 was the best performer of the day, rising 54 points, or 0.6%, to end the day at 9,157.
Germany's DAX 30, on the other hand, fell 29 points, or 0.2%, to finish at 15,070.
