ISTANBUL (AA) - European stocks closed higher Tuesday except in France.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was up 0.83 points, or 0.16% to finish almost flat at 518.88.
The UK's FTSE 100 added 17 points, or 0.21%, to end the day at 8,345 and Germany's DAX gained 64 points, or 0.35%, to close at 18,681.
Italy's FTSE MIB increased 174 points, or 0.52%, to end at 33,778.
Spain's IBEX 35 was the best performer of the day, rising 61 points, or 0.55%, to finish at 11,326.
France's CAC 40, on the other hand, lost 24 points, or 0.32%, to end the session at 7,565.
