ISTANBUL (AA) - European stocks closed higher Friday, except in the UK.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was up 0.07 points, or 0.1%, to finish at 483.93.
Germany's DAX 30 increased 59 points, or 0.35%, to close the last trading day of the week at 16,918.
France's CAC 40 rose 3.5 points, or 0.05%, to 7,592. Italy's FTSE MIB added 28 points, or 0.09%, to almost 30,718.
Spain's IBEX 35 was the best performer of the day, rising 48 points, or 0.48%, to end at 10,062.
The UK's FTSE 100, on the other hand, lost 6.6 points, or 0.09%, to close at 7,615.
