ISTANBUL (AA) – European stock exchanges closed lower on Thursday except for Germany.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, fell 2.22 points, or 0.43%, to finish at 512.59.
Italy's FTSE MIB was the worst performer of the day, plummeting 355 points, or 1.06%, to 33,186.
The UK's FTSE 100 lost 45 points, or 0.55%, to end the session at 8,179. France's CAC 40 declined 78 points, or 1.03%, to close at 7,530.
Spain's IBEX 35, meanwhile, decreased 79 points, or 0.72%, to end the day at 10,951.
Germany's DAX, on the other hand, rose 55 points, or 0.3%, to finish the day at 18,210.
