ISTANBUL (AA) – European stock exchanges closed lower on Thursday except for Germany and the STOXX.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose 0.41 points, or 0.08%, to finish at 496.37.
Germany's DAX, meanwhile, increased 65 points, or 0.37%, to end the day at 17,680.
The UK's FTSE 100, on the other hand, lost almost 22 points, or 0.27%, to conclude the session just below 8,145.
France's CAC 40 fell 18 points, or 0.26%, to 7,247 and Italy's FTSE MIB shed 89 points, or 0.28%, to 31,741.
Spain's IBEX 35 was the worst performer of the day, falling 41 points, or 0.39%, to end the day at 10,558.
