ISTANBUL (AA) – European stocks closed Thursday lower except for Italy’s exchange.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was down 2.06 point, or 0.47%, to close at 433.20.
Germany’s DAX 30 was the worst performer of the day, falling 161 points, or 1.08%, to end the session at 14,731.
The UK’s FTSE 100 lost 59 points, or 0.81%, to finish the session at 7,354. France’s CAC 40 shed 26 points, or 0.38%, to 6,888.
Spain’s IBEX 35, meanwhile, decreased 22 points, or 0.24%, to close at 8,962.
Italy’s FTSE MIB, on the other hand, rose 79 points, or 0.29%, to 27,507 at the final bell.
