ISTANBUL (AA) – European stock exchanges closed with losses on Tuesday, except for the UK exchange.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European markets in 17 countries, was down 2.74 points, or 0.61%, at 447.70.
Germany’s DAX 30 lost 149 points, or 0.97%, to finish the second trading day of the week at 15,255.
France’s CAC 40 fell 49 points, or 0.7%, to 7,074, while Spain’s IBEX 35 declined 19 points, or 0.2%, to 9,366 at the final bell.
Italy’s FTSE MIB was the worst performer of the day, losing 283 points, or 1%, to finish at 28,098.
The UK’s FTSE 100, on the other hand, added 1.73 points, or 0.02%, to close at 7,625.
