ISTANBUL (AA) - European stocks closed lower on Thursday, except for the UK and Spanish exchanges.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, fell 1.88 points, or 0.41%, to finish at 451.57.
Germany's DAX 30 was the worst performer of the day, losing almost 107 points, or 0.68%, to 15,621.
France's CAC 40 declined 32 points, or 0.44%, to 7,214 points, and Italy's FTSE MIB shed 161 points, or 0.57%, to end the day at 28,072.
The UK's FTSE 100, on the other hand, rose 13 points, or 0.18%, to finish the session at 7,333.
Spain's IBEX 35 added 9.1 points, or 0.1%, to close at 9,324.
