ISTANBUL (AA) - European stocks closed Tuesday with gains.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European markets in 17 countries, rose 4.42 points, or 0.97%, to finish at 459.83.
The UK's FTSE 100 was the best performer of the day, soaring 126 points, or 1.72%, to end the session at almost 7,645.
Germany's DAX rose 138 points, or 0.88%, to 15,930. France's CAC 40 added 48 points, or 0.67%, to close at 7,373.
Italy's FTSE MIB, meanwhile, jumped 345 points, or 1.21%, to end the day at 28,889.
Spain's IBEX 35 increased 91 points, or 0.96%, to 9,581.
