ISTANBUL (AA) - European stock exchanges closed Wednesday with gains.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European markets in 17 countries, rose 1.92 points, or 0.42%, to end the day at 454.52.
The UK's FTSE 100 was up 46 points, or 0.62%, to 7,486 at the final bell, while Italy's FTSE MIB added 122 points, or 0.42%, to 29,466.
Germany's DAX 30 was the best performer of the day, soaring 133 points, or 0.86%, to 15,748.
France's CAC 40, meanwhile, gained 23 points, or 0.33%, to conclude the session at 7,209.
Spain's IBEX 35 added 17 points, or 0.18%, to end the third trading day of the week at 9,640.
